Shamrock Football Camp 2019

Coach Doherty has been coaching football at college or high school since 1990.  During that time his teams have won two Super Bowl championships, multiple league championships and have coached many players that have gone on to play college football at all three levels.  In 1997, Coach Doherty lead Bishop Feehan to it’s first ever Super Bowl championship and did it again three years later in Framingham in 2000.  More importantly, in addition to learning fundamentals and schemes, the players under Coach Doherty have been taught the value of teamwork, unselfishness and sportsmanship.

Coach Doherty has served as president of the Bay State League athletic directors, served as president of the Massachusetts High School Football Coaches Association and received the Distinguished Service award for his work in developing the football coaches clinic with the New England Patriots.  Coach Doherty is a Coach of the Year recipient from multiple newspapers, a two time New England Patriot Coach of the Week recipient and last year served as the head coach for the South Shriner’s All Star Football game to benefit children with severe burns or handicaps.  Currently, Coach Doherty and his staff just finished their second season at Feehan.

The Shamrock football clinic is designed to be a fun learning environment where campers learn fundamentals to help them learn and improve as players, whether it is their first exposure to football or their fifth year of football.
