Betsy D'Ambrosia Bio

Betsy D’Ambrosia returns as the field hockey Varsity Coach at Bishop Feehan.  With each year their record has improved and includes a CCL cup, a CCL league title and qualifying for the first time ever for state tournament where they made it to the second round.

Coach D'Ambrosia attended Providence College, where she played field hockey throughout. During each of her four years at PC, the field hockey team qualified for the NCAA tournament, with their best showing of finishing sixth overall in the country.  Additionally, they won an ECAC championship and 2 Big East championships.

Before coaching at Bishop Feehan, Coach D'Ambrosia coached varsity field hockey in Westwood and Medfield for 10 years where they were Eastern MA finalists.  In addition, she has coached at a number of camps, clinics, the Bay State Games for 3 years (medaling each year), and was the head coach for the USFHA Futures program. She also coached the MA team for the US National Field Hockey Festival. She coached her daughter’s youth program for 5 years as well.

Coach D'Ambrosia and her husband Craig have three children- Matt ‘17, Tim’19 and Annie ‘21.
